Revelation Made Known

Chapter1 = Introduction to Revelation

The fear [or love] of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction

Greetings, We will start by asking a word of wisdom from our Heavenly Father that He will open eyes for understanding His word. Thank you Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

  Rev.1:1  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Number 1. What does the word Revelation mean??   To uncover, lay open what has been veiled or covered up, to make known, disclose what before was unknown.  So Revelation is to be made known, not hidden.                                                                                This is a problem for some teachers because they think there is no reason to study or teach revelation. They think we will all be flown away in a big white cloud before the tribulation of satan.

This is better known as the rapture theory in which sprung up in the year of 1830 when a young girl name Margaret McDonald had an evil dream or a vision of people just flying to heaven before Christ came.  If you do research on this she even said it felt evil.

Then two preachers that heard about her vision ran with it and today is know as the Rapture. The word Rapture is not even in the Bible. So man changed the meaning God's word, but only to deceive people of these end time.

 Christ sent His Angel  (messenger) to show John what the future holds. John at this time was in captivity on the island of Patmos about 70A.D. to "show unto his servant’s things which must shortly come to pass".                                                                                  Who are His servants? We, who are in Christ,

Again, the book of Revelation must be taught. Your soul depends on it as you will see later.

Jer 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Jer 23:2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

Rev1:2  Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.                            John will be taken to the Lord's Day soon.   The Lord's day is when Christ returns, but not before satan returns. John will be shown by Christ all things that will occur in this final generation. This final generation that began in 1948 when Israel became a Nation for the first time.   We will go over this later.

 Rev1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:   the time is at hand.                                                                                                                                                                                  Blessed is he that readeth. Our Father wants His people to know what will come to pass in this end generation. The generation of the Fig Tree.  So if Jesus says Blessed is he that readeth, Why are there people who don't believe this book should be taught and read?  Because of the traditions of man. How man made new rules about reading and teaching the Bible in Churches today.

 Rev1:4. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

John is about to give a message from Jesus to the Seven Churches, but first He is giving a salutation.

The 7 Churches encompassed the land in Asia at the time of John and were in a large circle of the cities and are symbolic by being in a circle, to represent all Churches that encompass the world today. At that time the Churches were to teach the same way, but as you will, and can see, so many dominations sprung up by man through the years and started teaching differently and not how they were to teach as in the beginning of the Churches.

from him which is, Jesus Christ in which He is alive and sits at the right hand of God now. He, whom we believe in now.

and which was, The same Jesus Christ that was in the world age before this one as we also were.                                                             Genesis1. In the beginning. We will get into the 3 world ages later, 2Peter in the New Testament tells of the 3 world or earth ages. One earth, three earth ages. This earth age came to be because of the katabole or fall of satan when satan wanted to be God in the first earth age.  Much more later.

2Peter

2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.

2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
2Pe 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
The first earth age was the time of dinosaurs and we were there in our spiritual body as it was before and will be again. Did you ever here of fossil fuel or dino fuel?  Well this is where we get our fuel from. Fuel from the remains of dinosaurs from millions and millions of years ago. Check it out on the web. More on this subject later as we go through the Chapters.

 which is to come; The same Christ who was crucified and who will return at the 7'th trumpet when to rid all evil, but not before satan returns at the 6th trumpet.  6 comes before 7. We will get to it later and this will be very important because of the rapture theory because so many believe that Christ will return first. They say they will be flown away in a big white cloud.                      That’s what the rapture theory is all about.

     seven Spirits;  The seven spirit of God, The Holy Spirit.

 Rev 1:5  And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, (only spiritually dead) and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Blood  (blood shed to lie in wait, to premeditated murder, slay, murder. Christ was nailed to the cross for our sins and to defeat death as written in the book Hebrews.  Praise be to God that He sent Jesus for us to repent by asking Him to forgive our sins.

Hebrew 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he (Jesus) also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Only God can kill your soul, but satan can lead you to the death of your soul by following him.

 Rev 1:6  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Amen  means that’s it. No more words need to be said.

Here we have John giving greetings to the seven Churches, giving praise, identifying God as the true Godhead, I am that I am.

kings and priests=We who serves God the Father, I am that I am through Christ will be Kings and priest in the 1000 years or the millennium that’s told about later in this book.

 Rev 1:7   Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: (Kenites) and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   At the 7th trumpet when Christ returns every knee will bow and every eye shall see him.                                                        Romans14:11  For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

clouds (used to denote a great shapeless collection of vapor obscuring the heavens as opposed to a particular and definite masses of vapor with some form or shape, a cloud as we know it today. This same cloud or vapor that protected the 12 tribes in the wilderness when Moses by the hand of God brought them out of Egypt about 1635 B.C..

and they [also] which pierced him:  the scribes or Kenites, the sons of Cain, the first murderer who father is satan will see what they did to Jesus.  Remember in the Garden of Eden how the serpent beguiled (wholly seduced) Eve in the book of Genesis? Hang on you will learn all about the Kenites later.

 Rev 1:8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Jesus says it all who He is.

 Rev 1:I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom (king and his dominion) and patience (waiting patiently) of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony (the office committed to the prophets of testifying concerning future events) of Jesus Christ.

John was in exile when He received Revelation from Jesus Christ.

 Rev 1:10  I was in the Spirit (John’s soul that has left His flesh body) on the Lord's day, (future) and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

trumpet (to shake, agitate, cause to tremble, also means action or charge.)

Think of this for a second, John was taken to the Lords day, at the seventh trumpet, the last day of this earth age as we know it.   John's spirit or soul has left his body because no flesh and blood can enter Heaven. Jesus is ready to show John the events that will occur months before his return.                                                                                                                                                                           This time is future and past where we are in time now. Wow! it is just hard to imagine.  This should tell you that we do have a spiritual body, our soul or spirit. Our soul that dwells within our flesh bodies and that is what we will return to when the Lord's day arrives or if we pass on before that day.

The sixth seal, the sixth trumpet, and the 6th vial pertain to satan including his return. The 7th seal, 7th trumpet, and 7th vial pertain to Jesus Christ's return. So 6 comes before 7.

Now this everyone has to understand or you will not be able to follow along in Revelation. You must think, or take yourself to where John is on the Lord's day. John is taken to the last day of this earth age and John is in His spiritual body on the Lords day.

 Rev 1:11  Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.                                                                                                                                                                               There were 7 Churches and the number 7 in Hebrew numeric means spiritual completeness. We will find that Christ only approves and loves only 2 of these seven Churches and why.  Jesus is telling John to write what he is seeing, Remember, John is in His spirit body seeing the future. The future and beyond where we are in time now. Again, we do return to our spiritual body when we die or pass on.

The Churches are the first to be started by Christ's Disciples after they received the Holy Spirit and began the work for Jesus.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   The seven Churches represent the different kinds of Churches existing today and were located in the land at that time in a circle in Asia representing the Churches that encompass the world today.

 Rev 1:12  And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

John is seeing seven golden candlesticks that represent the seven Churches. Jesus will tell us this later. He explains all.

 Rev 1:13  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

The son of man in this verse is Jesus Christ. Just think; John is seeing Jesus on Christ’s day, which is the Lord's Day.

 Rev 1:14  His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;

(The brightness of glory flowing forth from Jesus) John is describing what He is seeing.

 Rev 1:15  And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

The whiteness or brilliancy of Jesus

waters are people of the world as you will see later.

 Rev 1:16  And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

Hang on, Christ will tells us later what the stars mean and the two edged sword is his tongue, His word that cuts both ways. It cuts the evil and comforts the righteous from his word.

The truth of God’s word for those who want to hear and for those who don’t care or want to hear God will allow them to believe what they want.

Remember, Christ is the living word and will not force anyone to love or believe in Him. That is why we are in these flesh bodies to choose good or evil, Jesus or satan.

 Rev 1:17  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Jesus is laying His hand on John as they are in their spiritual body. Jesus is comforting John. How beautiful.

 Now did you ever hear a Teacher or Preacher say God spoke to me today and told me to give you a message? What crap because John fell as a dead man, so if God talks to a person, that person would be very scared and will not tell anyone what God told them.

 Rev 1:18  I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Christ was alive before the evil people of that time had Him nailed to the cross. Then He died on the cross and resurrected and now sits at the right hand of God and will live-forever just as the righteous will.                                                                                              He does have the keys to hell and death, the death of your soul or alive forever with Him at the white throne judgment of God.

To have the keys, or the truth you will not be deceived by satan, the antichrist when he returns.

Who is death?-satan. As you will find out later satan has many names and plays many roles. Remember Hebrews in verse 2

Hebrew 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he (Jesus) also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

 Rev 1:19  Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

John is at the Lords day writing what was, what is, and what will be. The Lord's day is when Christ returns but, not before satan does his thing by returning first as you will see later.

 Rev 1:20  The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Jesus tells everything to us in very easy words if we listen.

The seven stars are simply the Angels (messengers) of the seven Churches. the seven candlesticks are the seven churches.

 Chapter1 is the introduction and stating that God through Jesus Christ is the authority of this book.

Thank you and God bless. Thank you Heavenly Father in Jesus name, Amen.
