Revelation Made Known
Revelation Chapter 10 is a powerful warning from God; Remember, in this Chapter please keep in mind that the antichrist / satan is on earth in Jerusalem in his super natural body sitting on his temporary throne and Jesus is about to return.
Heavenly Father please open eyes and ears so your words can be understood in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
Rev10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: John sees another Angel, however this is a Mighty angel so it is not of the seven trumpet angels. This mighty Angel is the Shechinah glory=Shekinah \She*ki"nah\, [Heb] The visible majesty of the Divine Presence. Of truth and its knowledge, together with the spiritual purity associated with it.
clothed with a cloud This is the way God presented Himself to the 12 tribes when they were wondering in the wilderness for 40 years. A cloud for cover and protection. God is the consuming fire, the spirit of God.
10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, book open -- bē'-blos = a written book, a roll, a scroll, a written document God is now warning all. He is about to send His consuming fire to the entire world and everything in the world. Remember, God keeps records on all His children the good and the bad.
The earth is our Fathers footstool. God has total control of Heaven and Earth.
Below is what His consuming fire will do to what and who.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Elements = rudiments or the evil – just the evil things will be burnt up. works = all works associated with the evil.
This will not happen until the return of Christ. God is good to us by giving us this warning in His letter to us so we all have time to turn to Him through Christ.
Was this Little Book told of before? Yes it was in the Book of Ezekiel as written.
Eze 2:8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. Eze 2:9 And when I looked, behold, an hand [was] sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book [was] therein; Here is the same book, the Bible. God's word.
Eze 2:10 And he spread it before me; and it [was] written within and without: and [there was] written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe. Ezekiel is talking about the woe trumpets of the end times.
Eze 3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
Eze 3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. God made Ezekiel absorb God's truth. Eze 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
The truth is always sweet.
Now back to Revelation
10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. seven = means spiritual completeness and thunders means to roar. Uttered = to utter a voice or emit a sound their voices = of the sound of uttered words- speech-of a language, tongue
Amazing how our Father uses nature and animals for us to learn.
saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. Why was John told not to write when the seven voices uttered?? It is too late, no need for John to write. Christ is on His way. The book is closed because it is too late. Think of this for a minute. We are still in the sixth trumpet and now God is giving His final warning to come to Him. Now He did not mention lightning and lightning causes thunder. So if you here the thunder it is too late.
Remember what Luke said.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. The lightning has already struck by satan on earth at the sixth trumpet and the seventh trumpet already sounded. therefore it is finished. This world, this Earth age is no more, so you missed the boat if you hear the thunder and have mistaken satan the antichrist, the instead of christ for the true Jesus Christ.
Oh how many will miss the boat to be in Heaven with our Father. For wherever God is, so is Heaven.
10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever always means our Heavenly Father. Almighty God. The seven thunders cover the whole cycle of God’s plan.
time no longer means that time shall be no longer. No more delay in executing final vengeance. Time no longer for this earth age and as you look at the world today the events are aligned with God’s plan.
The seals we covered took us to this same point in time.
10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall (Is about) begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
At the sound of the seventh trumpet the mystery of God will be finished, but we were forewarned by the Prophets through out time in the Old Testament, in other words the Holy Bible, God’s letter to us through the Living word of Jesus Christ.
10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. Is this little book open to you? It is not opened for everyone. I pray that it is for you because any one that is interested in God’s word, the book shall be opened.
10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. eat it up this is a Hebraism (an expression or construction distinctive of the Hebrew language). It means to learn the book.
thy mouth sweet as honey again a Hebraism that when you read the word of God it is so sweet and interesting and you want to know more. belly bitter means when you try to teach the word of God some people just don’t want to hear it and you are not very popular with some people. Sometimes, Christians even back off of spreading God’s word.
10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. Note: Did the Angel make John eat the book? No, John took it and did eat or absorbed. Because John took the book it is telling us that to spread the word of God it takes a little effort on our part. We must read and absorb the truth and at least try to pass His word on to others and if they do not want to hear it so be it at least you did something.
10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. When will John prophesy before peoples, nations, and tongues?
We have to remember where John was taken. John was taken to the Lord’s Day in His spiritual body to see what will transpire in this end generation. This end generation did not end yet so John is prophesying to everyone now throughout the world that wants to hear the truth and what is about to take place.
The book of Acts told us about this time so let’s go to Acts. I know we went over this before but that’s ok.
Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; Even Joel told us about this day.
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
last days. Now when did these last days begin? In the year of 1948 when Israel became a Nation that’s when this end generation began.
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.
When does this take place?
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
Mar 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
