Revelation Made Known

Chapter 14                Take Me to; Home Page  Chapter15

Chapter14 is directed to Earth, so in order to follow and understand you have to remember that these events are immediately following satan on earth, ruling in Jerusalem.

Heavenly Father we ask for wisdom in understanding Revelation. Thank you Father in the name of Yahshua Messiah Jesus the Christ, Amen.

Rev.14:1  And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb (Jesus) stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.  ( their minds)                                                                        mount Sion  - Mt. Zion, Jerusalem

an hundred forty [and] four thousand -- The 144,000 are the ones that were sealed with God's truth in their forehead as in Chapter 7.  They were sealed when the elect were delivered up to satan and/or his councils and the Holy Spirit of our Father spoke through the elect.  This brought the truth to the world and the truth was sealed into the 144,000 minds.  Rev 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.                                                                                                                                                                                                       Rev 7:4  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: [and there were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

God will use them in the Millennium as written in the book of Ezekiel.                                                                                           Eze 44:10  And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity.                                                                                                                              Eze 44:11  Yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, [having] charge at the gates of the house, and ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.

I hope you understand, and I might mention that Chapter40 through to the end of Ezekiel is all about the Millennium. This is why I say you have to understand the beginning before you can understand the end.

Rev 14:2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:                                                                                                                          Remember John, who was taken to the Lord's Day?  He heard this great voice and the Harps of celebration as we will hear in due time.

Rev 14:3  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.          The 144,000 will sing this song just as the one's who will overcome, or stand against satan. This song is no great mystery because it was sung by Moses right before the children of Israel crossed over the Jordan into the promise land, Israel. You will find this song in Deuteronomy Chapter 32 and we will go over this song when we get to Chapter15 of Revelation so you might want to take a look at the Song of Moses before we get there.

redeemed from the earth = Purchased from this Earth age by hearing the truth.                                                                               I just want to point out to you that the 144,000 were redeemed from where? From the Earth. So these people are no doubt in the world today born of woman and do not even know that they are from the Priest line or a tribe.

Rev 14:4  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.     Don't let this verse mislead you because it is not talking about any gender. Think spiritually. The 144,000 were redeemed from among men by hearing the words of the ones that were delivered up to satan or his councils through the Holy Spirit, so this verse is simply stating that they stood against satan.

Christ is coming back for His bride and we are His bride, and are to remain virgins until that time and not follow satan. This is what this verse is stating.

firstfruits== to take away the firstfruits of the productions of the earth which was offered to God. Hence the term used of persons consecrated to God for all time. The first to overcome the first death.

Rev 14:5  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.                               guile ==craft, deceit and I'll say to fly away in a cloud.

Keep planting a seed and let our Father do what is good for the ones you plant a seed to.

Rev 14:6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,                                                                            This Angel has a very important message to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people on earth because Jesus is about to destroy satan’s temple, thus the millennium. Now when the millennium or 1000 years of teaching begins we are no longer in flesh bodies.

At this time we are in our spiritual bodies on earth in which the evil spirits of satan will be no more, as they are in this earth age. No man, woman, nor friend will be giving you advice as they do in this earth age. Why?  Because Christ returned on a white stallion, not on an ass, as He did the last time He entered Jerusalem.  And He is ruling with a rod of iron with "discipline" (from the word disciples), with no bull at all, but complete discipline.

Rev 14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.                                                                                   At this time many will fear God and many will give glory and love Him.

Jesus was reading a scripture when He walked the earth in the book or scroll at that time in Isaiah. Jesus only read half of verse 61.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Isa 61:2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, Then closed the scroll never finishing the other half. Why? Because the other half of the verse did not come to pass at that time of His reading, and it still didn't, but at this time in Rev.ch14:7 it will have come to pass.                                                                                                                                                Isa61:2 and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Who is “all that mourn”?  We who will not follow satan. We "will" mourn for others that followed satan because they did not know or did not study. This will all happen at the end of this earth age.

Rev 14:8  And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.                                                                                                                 What does Babylon mean? Confusion. At this time all confusion will be gone from all people because the seat where satan sat in Mt. Zion, Jerusalem is no more, and remember, satan is the author of confusion.                                           satan spiritually seduced many, many people of all Nations and Jesus Christ will put an end to all confusion.

Rev 14:9  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, ( Mind ) or in his hand, ( doing satan's work )                                                                             A third Angel, God means business and gives the last or final warning not to worship the Religious beast or receive his mark.

Rev 14:10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:                                                                                                                                                                                                         cup of his indignation -- The cup of wrath that Jesus was talking about when he asked His Father if there is any other way in the book of Luke.                                                                                                                                                                             Luk 22:42  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Now this is the verse that many people say that Christ had a weak moment while on the cross.  Hogwash. Christ was talking about verse10 in Rev14 above. God loves His children and Jesus did not want this to happen, tormented with fire and brimstone, because remember, Jesus is the one who is returning and will rule with a rod of iron.

without mixture---undiluted-- unmixed, pure                                                                                                                                         cup---one's lot or experience, whether joyous or adverse, divine appointments, whether favorable or unfavorable, are likened to a cup which God presents one to drink: so of prosperity and adversity.                                                     indignation --- movement or agitation of the soul, impulse, desire, any violent emotion, but especially anger.

Rev 14:11  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.                                                                        A lot can be said here, but I'll keep it short because we will go over this in depth later.

smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: For now, what does smoke do? It goes up in the air forever and ever, never to be seen again. This is really talking about the end of the millennium at judgment day. So think of your soul, because that is what this refers to.                                                                                                                                             satan and all his followers’ souls will go up with fire from within. Up in smoke forever and ever. Think of fat when it hits the coals of a cooking grill. What happens to the smoke? It goes up in the air never to be seen again. God is blotting out your soul.

Remember, we are still talking about earth here and John is still seeing this, so John was taken to the end of the 1000 years of teaching.

Now let's change thoughts here because we will cover this later. What about a Preacher who thinks he is really doing our Fathers work and feels he brought thousands of people to God through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. Then when satan appears the Preacher follows him because he really didn't know the truth of God's word or had a weak moment. The thousands of people that he taught also follows satan because, if he followed satan thinking it was Christ, maybe they will also.

How do you think this Preacher will feel? He will feel ashamed and will hurt so bad for the ones that went with him to satans camp. Just think, he will have to live with that in his spiritual body being taught for a thousand years due to his error of receiving the mark of the beast. He will not rest day or night by being tormented with what he did.

Rev 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. The ones that stand against the instead-of-Christ are the ones that have the patience of the saints.

Rev 14:13  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.                           John is told to write Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth. So from the time of John, including those that Christ went to when He rose from the dead, that were in prison on the wrong side of the gulf in Heaven as in 1 Peter3:19, until Christ returns, blessed are they who die believing in Jesus Christ. This includes your grandparents, parents, friends, relatives, and whoever. Now they can rest from their labors, meaning the work for Christ.

What is your work for Christ? Spreading His good news, consoling a friend who lost a loved one by telling them truly where their loved one is and who they are with, or maybe just giving a smile to someone who needs a smile, or whatever labors they or you do.                                                                                                                                                              their works do follow them. This goes for everyone. What follows them? Their works, not a Church or a Pastor, but their works and this is how we will be rewarded by God, from simply, our works and nothing else.

Rev 14:14  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.                                                                                                                         Who was like the Son of Man? Jesus Christ. This is His coming and white means purity and Jesus is that purity.

golden crown = King of Kings and Lord of Lords.                                                                                                                                   in his hand a sharp sickle --Christ is about to clean house. The house of satan and those who followed him.

Rev 14:15  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.                                                         The Harvest is directed to whom? The Earth, and who is on the Earth? People that followed Jesus and stayed true to Him and people that bowed down to satan and his systems.

No need to worry because Christ is not mad at us. At the time of harvest you could be in a crowd of a million people and no harm will come to you at all for you are God's child.

Rev 14:16  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.                      Remember, this Chapter is directed to Earth. The time of the tares to be reaped. Remember the parable of the tares?

Rev 14:17  And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.                          Christ means business.

Rev 14:18  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.                                                                                                                                                                                                          You do not harvest grapes with a sickle.  Think about it.  Who is the Vine and who are the branches? Let's let Jesus Christ give us the answer.                                                                                                                                                                        John 15:1  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.                                                                                         John15:2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.                                                                                                                                                   John15:3  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.                                                                         John 15:4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John15:5  I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.                                                                                                                                                        John15:6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.                                                                                                                                                  John15:7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.                                        John15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Rev 14:19  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast [it] into the great winepress of the wrath of God.                                                                                                                                                                        I pray, all who read this that they are safe from God's wrath.

Rev 14:20  And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand [and] six hundred furlongs.                                                                                                            a thousand [and] six hundred furlongs. 180 to 200 miles. Sounds like a lot of misguided people are on this earth. So Sad.
